What was the reason for the ban? RDM+Fail RP

In your opinion why were you banned? broken rules RDM+Fail RP

Why should we unban you from the server? I was in the situation fighting 2 gangs, the guy I RDM'ed asked me to join TS to resolve but I was in a sit, so I told him I'll message him when I'm done. He didn't even wait and straight up put a report + The report got accepted without trying to resolve on the website.

Second Situation, my friend got killed in Gravia. I was in Athira, so I came to the situation 3 minutes later and killed the guy. He also directly put up a report saying that I didn't have eyes on him (he didn't have proof). Also admin didn't try resolving on the report page.

I told Nick he could kill someone who VDM'd him as Matty a server director told me yesterday I was ok to shoot someone who attempted to VDM me. Seems weird to be told you can do one thing then a day later get banned for that same thing. Granted if that isn't in the rules fine but when you've been told by a Server Director this is the case why would you stop to check the rules?

Hello, Since a director has been mentioned in this appeal i will be handling it.

Firstly to list off some points.

The guy tried to resolve it with you, You failed to do so.

Secondly, If someone breaks a rule, That does NOT give you the right to break a rule yourself (rdm)

You were in a different city/town when your friend was killed. you kept no eyes, Unless you can provide proof of this? 3 minutes had also elapsed (your own words) if you lose eyes and go into a town and just shoot anyone who is armed that is RDM. plain and simple.

It's not down to the admin to resolve your rule break. That is down to you.

So just to summarize this.

You RDM'd someone. Failed to resolve it on teamspeak.
You killed someone who you believed VDM'd your friend.
You RDM'd another person by losing eyes for 3 minutes.

Anything you wish to add before i make a ruling?

Whilst i wait for your response i will verify your claims regarding Matty.

The guy didn't wait a minute for my situation to be done, so he basically didn't even give me time to resolve nor did the admin ask if I could resolve. I only never came to teamspeak because I believed what I was told by the management director yesterday

-You killed someone who you believed VDM'd your friend:
No one VDM'ed my friend. I am the one that got VDM'ed, Matty said it yesterday, VDM is one way initiation. "it's fine to shoot someone if you get VDM'ed" , I believed what I was told by the management director yesterday.

-You RDM'd another person by losing eyes for 3 minutes:
I was barely 1km from the situation where this guy claims I 'lost eyes' but I could see him the whole time, I had every right to go and kill him. I never lost eyes for 3 minutes I just don't have POV to prove that fact and am being punished for it.

You were given plenty of time to resolve. When asked you told him "will you keep crying?".

VDM is not 1 way initiation. You've been misinformed. I will discuss this with Matty when he is available.

As for keeping eyes 1km away. You have no proof of this. 3 minutes elapsed making the situation no longer active. In your own words you stated it had been 3 minutes.

So unless you have any form of proof surround the keeping eyes for 3 minutes, That ban will stay in place.

The only ban currently available for dispute is the RDM after being VDM'd. I'm waiting for Matty to message me.

@Nicks I've spoken to both Mattys. Neither have told you that shooting someone is acceptable if they VDM you. The bans will stay in place.
